PORTRAITS FROM A RECENT TRIP

Being a South African I'd always felt unsettled about not having visited any other African country, knowing full well the beauty that lay beyond our border. In 2012, we drove for 4 days, sometimes for up to 14 hours a day, and more than a few thousand kilometers to get to this beautiful little town called Pemba. Pemba is a couple of hundred kilometers South of the Tanzanian border. The local Mozambican's are as hospitable as they are beautiful. If you ever get an opportunity to visit this financially poor (generally speaking), but culturally rich country you should jump at the chance. These are some of my favourite portraits from the trip shot on my Canon 550 D.
